Fence Installer

The Opportunity: You will play a vital role in bringing our customers’ visions to life by installing high-quality fencing solutions. You will work as part of a dedicated team to construct residential and commercial fences, ensuring every project meets our standards of excellence. You’ll develop valuable construction skills, work with a variety of materials and techniques, and contribute directly to customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do:

  • Install various types of fencing including vinyl, composite, ornamental, and wood according to project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble fence materials with precision to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and site layouts.
  • Prepare job sites by clearing obstacles and ensuring proper workspace setup.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure all installations meet specifications and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and address any questions or concerns on-site.

 

Must-Haves in a Candidate:

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Physical capability to perform demanding manual labor: lifting 50+ lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Team player mentality with good communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and willingness to travel to various job sites.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job.

 

Nice-to-Haves in a Candidate:

  • Previous experience in fence installation, construction, or carpentry.
  • Familiarity with various fencing materials and installation techniques.
  • Experience operating power tools and equipment (post hole diggers, concrete mixers, saws, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of measurement and layout techniques.

 

Details:

  • This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay. Rates are dependent on years of experience.
  • This role is based in Oklahoma City with daily travel to job sites throughout central Oklahoma and other parts of the state.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday with some overtime available.
  • Medical insurance, life insurance, and 401k available.

You will represent our brand, develop your sales skills, and contribute to the overall success of our company. What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers and partners to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings at customer locations and explain our product offerings.
  • Perform site walk-throughs while taking detailed measurements and pictures to develop high-quality project estimates.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by offering guidance and support throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive products to effectively position our offerings.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and support.
  • Accurately track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.


Must-Haves in a Candidate:

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills with a passion for serving others and putting customers first.

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Experience in construction, fencing, or outdoor products industries is a plus.


Details:

  • This is a full-time role with a 100% commission structure (uncapped).
  • This role is based in Oklahoma City with frequent travel around central Oklahoma and other parts of the state.
  • This is a remote/outside sales position, but regular in-office meetings are required.
